As a teen in the early 90’s I spent a week taking ‘very serious’ photographs with my Dad’s camera. It turned out I hadn’t loaded the film properly and had no pictures.

I really fell in love with photography in 2002, making studio lights out of baked bean tins and learning to use a manual film camera and darkroom just in time for the digital revolution. Against all the odds I’ve been lucky enough to earn my living making photos since 2008!

I love good light and interesting composition, but most of all it’s about that hard to define something else- a moment, an atmosphere, a connection.

I’m based in Devon, UK.
